Raised on folk festivals, prayer services, poetry, and punk rock, Arielle Silver is a consummate storyteller whose rich, expressive voice and acoustic guitar frame expansive melodies that echo her travels across the American heartland.
Arielle was born on Florida's Gulf Coast, grew up in woodsy spots along the mid-Atlantic, skinny dipped through her 20s at Walden Pond, and now feeds the feral cats beneath her home in Los Angeles a traffic jam away from the Pacific Ocean.
Songs from her new album Watershed have been heard on The Bluegrass Situation, Americana UK, and won Second Place in the International Acoustic Music Awards, Finalist in the Tucson Folk Festival Songwriting Competition, and Semi-Finalist in the International Songwriting Competition.
