Slowstring, the new folk music project featuring Jimbo Scott and Sarah Ryan, is an attempt to capture a new feeling; something that indulges in the tension that lives in deep affection, the sensation of burning from being so cold, the impulse to rush when there is a hunger for a slow, steady tempo. With rich harmony and delicate instrumentation, Slowstring will capture your attention and fuel a need for exploration while working toward something more simple. Slowstring’s mission might be deep, it might be meaningless but it’s always striving to be true.
