About The Event
GATES OPEN AT 7 PM - MUSIC STARTS AT 8 PM
Sound of Soul, comprised of Lisa Langley and Dave Elke take you to the soulful side with the music they grew up with. The duo unleashes a lot of raw emotion with Dave’s dynamic guitar playing and Lisa’s vocal grit.
As a guitarist Dave has played live shows, recorded and written songs for 25 years, and is a member of BMI. He began performing in the San Francisco Bay Area in 1989. After moving to Chico in 1993 Dave continued to perform and record with bands of all styles.
Lisa Langley released two soul/ R&B albums “Secret Lover” & “Happiness” produced by Dave Elke in 2013 and 2015 under stage name “Lisa Valentine”. The two kept working together and soon formed folk duo “Sunday Iris” writing, recording and releasing several albums together as they toured around California.
Their musical partnership is ever evolving and bonded with love and soul.

- Bring a water bottle...we'll have water availabele
- Bring A Chair (You may not actually need it though...we have quite a few, but just in case)
- Bring $20 for the donation bucket (ALL $$ goest to the artists, always!)
- Gates Open at 7 PM - Music Starts at 8 PM
